Farm CampsLife on a working farm is an amazing outdoor classroom. Our mission at Tashunka is to expose children to farm life through hands on experiences, creative play, exploration, art, interacting and caring for our farm animals as well as develop a connection with the land.
Kid’s camp allows children to experience all the workings of a farm. They will learn about plants and vegetables and the role they play on a farm. Campers will take care of, play with and learn about horses, donkeys, goats, pigs, rabbits, chickens, and a chinchilla. Campers will participate in farm chores such as feeding and cleaning the animals living areas, collecting eggs, composting, planting seeds and small plants. They will demonstrate their learning by creating a book as well as doing daily art projects.
