Tenley Mange

Petting Farm Coordinator

Tenley Mange is petting farm tour coordinator/do-er, head staff and animal care taker. She has been working at Redmond Petting Farm for five years. Tenley has been involved with horses since 2010 and has been in 4-H for five years. She became involved in horse knowledge contests and has gone to Washington state championships and National championships multiple times. Since then she has expanded her knowledge to animals other than horses. She has two horses that live at the farm, one of which is a mustang she is training for the Extreme Mustang Makeover in Lexington Kentucky. She has always had a passion for animals and enjoys getting to know new animals and learning more about animals. This year Tenley was able to graduate a semester early and has been filling her days with coffee, animals and working.

Richard Augustus

Petting Farm Owner and Guide

Richard Augustus is the owner and occasional guide for Redmond Petting Farm. He has a Bachelors degree in Recreation Management and a minor in Small Business Management. Richard Augustus has been involved with horses since 1985, and has experience in a wide range of riding disciplines including Western, English, Dressage, Gaming, Jumping, Trail Riding, Packing, and natural horsemanship. Animals, kids, the great outdoors, and education continue to be his passion and areas of specialties. His professional background includes positions as a Horse Show Judge, Central Washington University Instructor, Leadership Consultant, Residential Camp Program Director, Business Manager, and Office Manager.
